Potassium Titanyl Phosphate (KTP) crystal is a kind of excellent nonlinear optical crystal. It has many advantages such as good mechanical properties and physical and chemical properties, insoluble in water or organic solvents, no deliquescence.  KTP has a wide light transmission band (0.35~4.5μm), can achieve oscillation phase matching of the double frequency, sum frequency, and optical parametric oscillation of 1.064μm neodymium laser and other band lasers. As a frequency conversion material, especially as the best crystal used in medium or small power frequency doubling , KTP crystal has been widely used in scientific research, industrial, military and other fields. The frequency multiplier and optical parametric amplifier fabricated from KTP have been applied to full solid state tunable laser light source.
